The Joint of Your Hip

0 observations

Let us not forget his side that has given us some extraordinary erotic poetry. This one received attention when he first presented it at Author's Den.

The Joint of Your Hip

at the joint of your hip
where legs merge
to body
turning action
into presence
where I place my hands
to feel you move
as I move
inside you
envying those legs
in that merger eternal
waking passions infernal
in confessions nocturnal
feeling your warming skin
as in you I linger
my stinger
envenoming you
with pale evidence
of that moment
too brief if forever
too long ago if just now
when I was there
buried
in the joint of your hip
and you closed your eyes
and smiled for me

    Explaining the Tags

You will note, gentle reader, that all works under this blog now display "tags" to help classify and assign the works for your review and enjoyment.

These largely fall into 4 categories:

    Year of writing, e.g. "1999"
Book published in, e.g. "from an unexpected quarter"
    Inspiring muse, e.g. "Aubergine"
    Genre, e.g. "erotica"

We are still in the process of cleaning up the tags, so please bear with us. Yes, some muses are classified under more than one tag, some poems appear in more than one book, or not yet in any volume, and some years are...hazy.
