I wrote the poet the other day and asked him to send me something new, fresh and previously unpublished for this blog. He cooperated. Jaz, thanks for bringing him back to us all. In a related tidbit, he is actually evaluating using the word "Inamorata" as the title of a book of just fiery romantic and erotic poems.
In Actions Insolent
inamorata,
how soft your skin, warming to my touch,
feels to hands long reaching out to pull
you to me, to kiss and smell and taste,
and yes, in reverent haste, to feel part
to the duty of your own heart
to let me speak in actions insolent
on the altar of your feral needs.

Explaining the Tags
You will note, gentle reader, that all works under this blog now display "tags" to help classify and assign the works for your review and enjoyment.
These largely fall into 4 categories:
Year of writing, e.g. "1999"
Book published in, e.g. "from an unexpected quarter"
Inspiring muse, e.g. "Aubergine"
Genre, e.g. "erotica"
We are still in the process of cleaning up the tags, so please bear with us. Yes, some muses are classified under more than one tag, some poems appear in more than one book, or not yet in any volume, and some years are...hazy.
