It's an ancient work, to say the least. But it has one of his most quotable lines: "Memory is the curse of those who care". Also note the reference to his favourite artist (pre-Giger), Salvador Dali, and his work "The Persistence of Memory". Also, the homonumous use of the word "reign" in his phrase "saline reign" to indicate a state of weeping that overcomes the one crying. Yes, there is a lot to it.
Virgin's Dawn
touch a bitter tear
and run, laughing.
the innocence you prayed to is long gone.
saline reign of fear.
a dream undying.
the wind betrays the come of virgin's dawn.
run a race with fate.
the clocks are melting.
memory is the curse of those who care.
there are those who wait,
their spirits moulding.
our dreams are borne in riddles on the air.
taste the razor snow.
the fire. the beauty.
the dawn is yours, it must be by your choice.
watch our fleshes flow.
feel passions' duty.
your touch and taste shall serve as spirits' voice.
touch a bitter tear
and run, laughing.
the innocence you prayed to is long gone.
saline reign of fear.
a dream undying.
the wind betrays the come of virgin's dawn.

Explaining the Tags
You will note, gentle reader, that all works under this blog now display "tags" to help classify and assign the works for your review and enjoyment.
These largely fall into 4 categories:
Year of writing, e.g. "1999"
Book published in, e.g. "from an unexpected quarter"
Inspiring muse, e.g. "Aubergine"
Genre, e.g. "erotica"
We are still in the process of cleaning up the tags, so please bear with us. Yes, some muses are classified under more than one tag, some poems appear in more than one book, or not yet in any volume, and some years are...hazy.
