Zephyr

1 observations

The poet is nothing if not romantically wistful. This trifle is not so trifling when you put it in context of his heart's determination in the face of real opportunities for disillusionment. There are times I actually feel bad for those who never dared to love as he does, or to be loved as he would.

Zephyr

I will taste your lips
when
you are ready
and the steady
slippery slope that slips
us ever closer
is inexorable.
like my desire
to be held to the fire,
to taste your breath
at the point of the little death
when e're I see you.
and see the shadows pale
at your approach.
I am waiting.
I am waiting.
I am waiting.

Zephr-

Warm air and passion do eventually rise
taking purchase in the skies.

A truly lovely poem and sentiment.

Generous in its simplicity.

Calming to those who may want too much too soon. A Gentle reminder for all.

I like the bareness and sweetness of it.

    Explaining the Tags

You will note, gentle reader, that all works under this blog now display "tags" to help classify and assign the works for your review and enjoyment.

These largely fall into 4 categories:

    Year of writing, e.g. "1999"
Book published in, e.g. "from an unexpected quarter"
    Inspiring muse, e.g. "Aubergine"
    Genre, e.g. "erotica"

We are still in the process of cleaning up the tags, so please bear with us. Yes, some muses are classified under more than one tag, some poems appear in more than one book, or not yet in any volume, and some years are...hazy.
