All I Want is a Red Hot Mama

0 observations

Okay, so it isn't always Byronic orthography.

Originally conceived as a lyric for a rock song, he hasn't yet laid this track down. To my knowledge. (And Jaz? He wrote this three years ago.)

All I Want is a Red Hot Mama

all I want is a
red
hot mama.
no drama
except who will pass out first.
gotta hunger and a
real
strong
thirst.
and you're the tall drink of water
I don't care
that you're
some
ones
daughter.
give it all.
give it up.
give me proof that you're the one.
with a heat that can
melt
the
sun.
bring desire.
bring me
that
true
fire
that can burn me to core.
that can burn me more.
but I don't mind
if I find
what I'm
looking
for.
and I bet you know what that is.

    Explaining the Tags

You will note, gentle reader, that all works under this blog now display "tags" to help classify and assign the works for your review and enjoyment.

These largely fall into 4 categories:

    Year of writing, e.g. "1999"
Book published in, e.g. "from an unexpected quarter"
    Inspiring muse, e.g. "Aubergine"
    Genre, e.g. "erotica"

We are still in the process of cleaning up the tags, so please bear with us. Yes, some muses are classified under more than one tag, some poems appear in more than one book, or not yet in any volume, and some years are...hazy.
