kneeling on the ceiling
I am bound to you
found in you
and taken to the ground by you.
There is not said a sound so true
when I confess I've crowned just you
and my proud shroud is unwound by you
and
I am bound to you
found in you
and taken to the ground by you.

Explaining the Tags
You will note, gentle reader, that all works under this blog now display "tags" to help classify and assign the works for your review and enjoyment.
These largely fall into 4 categories:
Year of writing, e.g. "1999"
Book published in, e.g. "from an unexpected quarter"
Inspiring muse, e.g. "Aubergine"
Genre, e.g. "erotica"
We are still in the process of cleaning up the tags, so please bear with us. Yes, some muses are classified under more than one tag, some poems appear in more than one book, or not yet in any volume, and some years are...hazy.

2 observations:
Ooo, I love the title! It's fab, babe.
And the piece brings to mind such classics as Sir Walter Scott's Lay of the Last Minstrel, in which he writes "It is the secret sympathy, the silver link, the silken tie, which heart to heart and mind to mind in body and in soul can bind."
Mondo Bongo.
Seriously mondo bongo.
Thank you. It came to me as I contemplated you earlier. Initially it seemed a strange brew, then I sat back and examine dit and it was...good.
