tangle

1 observations

From a dream. A nice dream.

tangle

a tangle of limbs and lips and hips
that begs the question without remorse
of the course of the next day's memory.
your eyes shine with divine inspiration
as we touch, as such, and make martyrs
of hearts that do not stay afraid
very long when surrender is a victory
and the touch of your lips and your hands
makes me vanish as an isolated thought
when caught inside you, a tangle
of heart and flesh and soul out of control
only if I wish to deny the truth
that I am here because I want to be.
and your quickened breath revives me
to your beauty and grace and passion.

    Explaining the Tags

You will note, gentle reader, that all works under this blog now display "tags" to help classify and assign the works for your review and enjoyment.

These largely fall into 4 categories:

    Year of writing, e.g. "1999"
Book published in, e.g. "from an unexpected quarter"
    Inspiring muse, e.g. "Aubergine"
    Genre, e.g. "erotica"

We are still in the process of cleaning up the tags, so please bear with us. Yes, some muses are classified under more than one tag, some poems appear in more than one book, or not yet in any volume, and some years are...hazy.
