Along the road there have been a few remarkable women who played for me what my role has so often been: Transitional Relationship. Someone who was there with what I needed to break out of a corner or trap or well in my soul. I can't name them all without inviting trouble in a few of their lives, but I can thank them, earnestly and passionately, for their contribution to my growth and survival.
It was a Frabjous Day
It was a frabjous day when you,
while on your way,
found me huddled on the corner of the street.
You took me in,
then once again,
you gave me back the taste of wine and meat.
You gave of yourself,
you shared the wealth
yet perhaps we both gave as well as got.
But I owe you for your charity,
you gave to me a clarity
that I could again recapture what was sought.

Explaining the Tags
You will note, gentle reader, that all works under this blog now display "tags" to help classify and assign the works for your review and enjoyment.
These largely fall into 4 categories:
Year of writing, e.g. "1999"
Book published in, e.g. "from an unexpected quarter"
Inspiring muse, e.g. "Aubergine"
Genre, e.g. "erotica"
We are still in the process of cleaning up the tags, so please bear with us. Yes, some muses are classified under more than one tag, some poems appear in more than one book, or not yet in any volume, and some years are...hazy.
