seen through objective eyes

0 observations

seen through subjective eyes
you have a grace of form that a man
(such as myself) cannot help but admire
and feel a desire to express
in word or look or touch or more
if given opportunity to live a dream.
for I am not a camera, I am a man,
bound by the sound of the my own heart
pounding and resounding to see you
standing proud and naked to the light,
seen through the objective eye of a camera
that stands as proxy for my admiring eyes.

This was written as response to a challenge to name a photo taken by my dear friend and muse Mariya, in which she was posing with a camera.

    Explaining the Tags

You will note, gentle reader, that all works under this blog now display "tags" to help classify and assign the works for your review and enjoyment.

These largely fall into 4 categories:

    Year of writing, e.g. "1999"
Book published in, e.g. "from an unexpected quarter"
    Inspiring muse, e.g. "Aubergine"
    Genre, e.g. "erotica"

We are still in the process of cleaning up the tags, so please bear with us. Yes, some muses are classified under more than one tag, some poems appear in more than one book, or not yet in any volume, and some years are...hazy.
