after the eclipse
lips and hips
the darkness gone and on we go
as if nothing happened we can assimilate
into our ill-fated self-aggrandizement
so proud of our isolation
the clouds of our violation
of the very nature of our souls
forged and engorged
the unity of the plurality
the democracy of the hypocrisy of lies
and eyes and thighs
we make ourselves wise in our
illusions and delusions
the delicious confusions
in the moments of a fusion
of more than membranes
the surrender of our tender tendencies
in the age of graceless acts we defy
when we try when we cry
when we dare ask the why and the who
to find what is new and true
after the eclipse

Explaining the Tags
You will note, gentle reader, that all works under this blog now display "tags" to help classify and assign the works for your review and enjoyment.
These largely fall into 4 categories:
Year of writing, e.g. "1999"
Book published in, e.g. "from an unexpected quarter"
Inspiring muse, e.g. "Aubergine"
Genre, e.g. "erotica"
We are still in the process of cleaning up the tags, so please bear with us. Yes, some muses are classified under more than one tag, some poems appear in more than one book, or not yet in any volume, and some years are...hazy.
