in the hall of mirrors: eleven

1 observations

lambent kisses that once lit the towers of the temple
fall upon cooling stone, alabaster and deep, black marble
that hold high the pillars of the eternal dreams
in the hall of mirrors, where polished silver delivers
nothing but the unvarnished, untarnished truth to curse
eye and expectation, a vow unmade to serenade us
with the sound of echoes of other times and crimes,
lives we lived and we gave grave accounts for, in the end

you make me simply fall in love with ur words-'the pillars of the eternal dreams in the hall of mirrors'
and
'with the sound of echoes of other times'
romantic, yet so dream-like!
thanks for sharing!

    Explaining the Tags

You will note, gentle reader, that all works under this blog now display "tags" to help classify and assign the works for your review and enjoyment.

These largely fall into 4 categories:

    Year of writing, e.g. "1999"
Book published in, e.g. "from an unexpected quarter"
    Inspiring muse, e.g. "Aubergine"
    Genre, e.g. "erotica"

We are still in the process of cleaning up the tags, so please bear with us. Yes, some muses are classified under more than one tag, some poems appear in more than one book, or not yet in any volume, and some years are...hazy.
