The poet is on fire, judging from his most recent works...this one, just in, he sent me at 5 o'clock, EST, this morning, he was obviously up all night.
a sip of Jasmin
I want to be the one to taste you,
not waste you.
a sip of Jasmin on my lips,
I slip to grip you by your hips.
to cast you up on the shores of temptation.
contemplation:
a state of believing in something more than
what is seen.
be my queen
and I will share my kingdom.

I think we have something not seen at least since the time of the Goddess of Fire and Poetry, and I'm not certain this does not burn hotter (I didn't share the truly visceral and erotic pieces...O, my God! Poet on the hunt!).

Explaining the Tags
You will note, gentle reader, that all works under this blog now display "tags" to help classify and assign the works for your review and enjoyment.
These largely fall into 4 categories:
Year of writing, e.g. "1999"
Book published in, e.g. "from an unexpected quarter"
Inspiring muse, e.g. "Aubergine"
Genre, e.g. "erotica"
We are still in the process of cleaning up the tags, so please bear with us. Yes, some muses are classified under more than one tag, some poems appear in more than one book, or not yet in any volume, and some years are...hazy.
