Matthew 10:14

0 observations

Something by request from his most loyal, royal highness and master, the Amomancer.

Matthew 10:14

The dust from my feet,
falling back from whence it came
as I take back my peace and shame
every building, every street,
for the sins of the indifferent.
I'll not linger where
there is no sense of welcome,
no place by the fire to become
my corner, the place I dare
spend moments I can never repent.
Show me to the gate
that I may now seek solace
in dark and endless wilderness
and a most uncertain fate.
No trace or trail to show where I went.

    Explaining the Tags

You will note, gentle reader, that all works under this blog now display "tags" to help classify and assign the works for your review and enjoyment.

These largely fall into 4 categories:

    Year of writing, e.g. "1999"
Book published in, e.g. "from an unexpected quarter"
    Inspiring muse, e.g. "Aubergine"
    Genre, e.g. "erotica"

We are still in the process of cleaning up the tags, so please bear with us. Yes, some muses are classified under more than one tag, some poems appear in more than one book, or not yet in any volume, and some years are...hazy.
