by the gates, by the pillars

0 observations

Something new moves in the shadows and clouds. Or is it an elder passion, sliding between the facets? I wish I knew. Probably he is not even sure. He included with it a note to be presented before it:

"It is in plain sight that I hide my light, for the foolish do not understand. The uncomprehending need hope. And evidence of my faith is essential to those who dare believe, even bound in other webs."

by the gates, by the pillars

The road to Kyrienar is long and unmarked
parts parked with memories unrelented
with sins unrepented. Emotions vented
in steam that screams tin whistle warnings
of mornings where there was nothing but touch
and taste and tears to cheer the sunrise.

And I will wait at the gate.
For that is to my purpose.
But this is by my choice, not fate,
as mine is the light in shadows.

    Explaining the Tags

You will note, gentle reader, that all works under this blog now display "tags" to help classify and assign the works for your review and enjoyment.

These largely fall into 4 categories:

    Year of writing, e.g. "1999"
Book published in, e.g. "from an unexpected quarter"
    Inspiring muse, e.g. "Aubergine"
    Genre, e.g. "erotica"

We are still in the process of cleaning up the tags, so please bear with us. Yes, some muses are classified under more than one tag, some poems appear in more than one book, or not yet in any volume, and some years are...hazy.
