hand to flesh

0 observations

For those of you who have missed certain colours of my rainbow of late. Let's dance.

hand to flesh

shall I place hand to flesh
and feel the pulse of your life
as it draws me in,
a drumbeat,
sweet and fragrant, your very oils
toiling to tell me something
something primal and pertinent.
and pleasant,
like the first time I entered you.
or the first time I heard you call
my name in vain as you surrendered
to the purpose of my touch
when I traced your essence
with my tongue as tip of a brush,
marking territory for conquest
and surrender.

    Explaining the Tags

You will note, gentle reader, that all works under this blog now display "tags" to help classify and assign the works for your review and enjoyment.

These largely fall into 4 categories:

    Year of writing, e.g. "1999"
Book published in, e.g. "from an unexpected quarter"
    Inspiring muse, e.g. "Aubergine"
    Genre, e.g. "erotica"

We are still in the process of cleaning up the tags, so please bear with us. Yes, some muses are classified under more than one tag, some poems appear in more than one book, or not yet in any volume, and some years are...hazy.
