Selke Cycle 11: surfaced tension

0 observations

Some people have been complaining I lost my mojo.

surfaced tension

I hear you breathe, the deep and hungry draw of air
that stirs my hair and takes me away from the touch
that I am exploring as my hands caress your warm form
and find interesting corners to cautiously consider.
your mouth seeks mine and the wine of your body
infuses me with the drunkenness of your desire
as the fire sparks then strikes, your skirt hiked
just high enough to let me break the surfaced tension
and deliver the connection that burns and churns
what yearns within you for closure in a moment of opening.

    Explaining the Tags

You will note, gentle reader, that all works under this blog now display "tags" to help classify and assign the works for your review and enjoyment.

These largely fall into 4 categories:

    Year of writing, e.g. "1999"
Book published in, e.g. "from an unexpected quarter"
    Inspiring muse, e.g. "Aubergine"
    Genre, e.g. "erotica"

We are still in the process of cleaning up the tags, so please bear with us. Yes, some muses are classified under more than one tag, some poems appear in more than one book, or not yet in any volume, and some years are...hazy.
