Going Dancing

My dear and graceful friend, LiZa Lorraine, took this shot of herself slipping into her ballet slippers and it made me think of dance from several angles. So here, for the Fields of Arbol, I offer you yet another inspiration from this Brazilian photographer, model, scholar...and, yes, ballet dancer.

Going Dancing

life is a dance.
on point, every joint reacting
as you practice the spontaneity
of love and dreams. you are a deity
to freedom and desire as your fire
leaps from heart to limb to eyes,
open in the awe and inspiration,
your grace facing your soul, released.
